Handing the part over in person removes shipping time in both directions, which usually pulls a couple of days out of the schedule on scan-based jobs.

Whether a part is 3D scanned or measured by hand depends on its geometry, not your postcode, freeform surfaces get scanned, prismatic parts are often faster with calipers. Southern California is well supplied with machining, sheet metal and printing capacity. You can take the delivered STEP, DXF and drawing files to any shop you already trust, or we can coordinate the build for you, see prototyping and manufacturing.

The workflow is remote by design. Customers across the United States send photos and measurements, ship parts when the geometry demands it, review the model online, and receive files by email. Being in Orange County is where we are, it isn't a requirement for working with us.
